Arbor Day
Join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. for a community tree planting, celebrating Arbor Day.
Staff are currently planning the 2026 location, check back for updates.
Trees play an important role in keeping us healthy! Trees can:
- Improve air quality,
- Reduce the impacts of climate change and keep our city cooler,
- Conserve biodiversity,
- Provide habitat for wildlife, and
- Improve our physical and mental health!
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear (layers, closed toe shoes). If possible, please bring a shovel, bucket to move mulch and gardening gloves. Limited supplies will be available for those who can't bring their own.
Refreshments will be provided and volunteers can also take a tree to plant at home.
