The City of Woodstock organizes or supports more than a dozen special events and festivals each year that contribute to the vibrancy of our community. These free public events create opportunities for residents to connect with each other through shared experiences and make lasting memories with family and friends.
Remembrance Day

Please join us as we gather to pay tribute to the courage and sacrifice of those who served and continue to serve our country during times of war, military conflict and peace.
The Remembrance Day Ceremony will take place in Victoria Park starting at 10:30 a.m.

Can you save Christmas and bring holiday cheer to Whoville? Grab a group friends and work as a team to find hidden clues, solve puzzles and escape before time runs out! One hour time slots are available from 4 – 9 p.m. The cost is $20 per person for groups of 4 to 6 people (ages 14+). Book your time slot online.

Join Santa for a special holiday recreational swim! The cost to attend is $5 per person (free for children under 1). Participants can register in advance online.
Holiday Kids Nights at Cowan Park Sportsplex
Friday, Dec. 4 and Friday, Dec. 18 | 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Join Cowan Park Sportsplex for holiday crafts and pizza for children ages 6 to 12. The cost to attend is $25.50 per night. Registration is required.

In order to ensure the ongoing success of each of the free community events, a variety of corporate and community sponsorship and partnership opportunities are made available that allow community partners to maximize their visibility and impact in the community. Applications for parade floats, walking groups, bands and Shriners will be available in January 2027.
We are always looking for entertainment to enhance our special events and welcome you to send us information about your talents. We appreciate all types of entertainment and genres of music, whether that be a solo act, duo, or group!
