Cowan Park Sportsplex: Turf and walking track reopening Sept. 14, parking lot construction in progress
The turf and walking track at Cowan Park Sportsplex will be reopening on Monday, Sept. 14.
Installation of a new artificial turf is complete and drop-in programs will resume starting next week.
Construction on the parking lot is still underway. The small parking lot in front of the facility is closed and accessible parking is not available.
Visitors can use the large parking lot of the south side of the facility and enter through the south stairs. The main entrance is open, however the pathway from the parking lot is not currently paved and the entrance is not fully accessible.
Updates on the construction will be shared on the City of Woodstock’s website and social media.
