Arbor Day
April 26, 2026
Join us on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. for a community tree planting celebrating Arbor Day!
This year we will be planting trees in Brick Ponds Wetlands with support from Trees for Life, Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, Toyota Tsusho Canada Inc. and members of the community. We are proud to participate in the Government of Canada's 2 Billion Trees Program operated by the Ministry of Natural Resources Canada.
Access to the site and parking will be located at 270 Beards Lane, Woodstock, ON N4S 7W3. Snacks and refreshments will be provided and volunteers can also take a tree to plant at home.
Be prepared:
- Wear appropriate clothing and footwear (layers, closed toe shoes).
- If possible, bring a shovel, bucket to move mulch and gardening gloves. Limited supplies will be available.
Individuals, families, teams and other groups are all welcome. As a volunteer, you will make an environmental impact, have fun, meet new friends, earn hours, and contribute to your community. Completing a volunteer application is not mandatory, but recommended.
