Recreation Advisory Committee
Purpose
The purpose of the Recreation Advisory Committee is to make recommendations:
- Relating to the status of programs and their relationship to community needs
- Regarding the education of the community on recreational issues
- To increase the public awareness and understanding of recreational issues within the city
- Relating to capital projects
The committee also meets with groups, organizations and individuals interested or involved in industrial, commercial or residential recreation activities to determine their concerns or areas of interest.

The Recreation Advisory Committee is made up of the following Citizen, Council and Staff representatives. Members of the committee remain on the committee for the duration of the current Council term of office.

Meetings
The Recreation Advisory committee meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. excluding July and August. Location is listed on council calendar.
