Woodstock is celebrating its 71st Victoria Day weekend.  World’s Finest Shows will be set up and ready to kick things off at 5pm on the evening of Thursday, May 17th and run through to approximately 6pm on the evening of Victoria Day Monday, May 21st.  Keep an eye on the What’s On Woodstock magazine, City of Woodstock Website and Facebook page for additional details on ride specials, hours of operation etc.

World’s Finest Shows will also offer a variety of food items and treats as well as midway and rides for all ages. 

The City of Woodstock has partnered with Woodstock Minor Ball to bring a tournament back for this weekend.  Starting late afternoon on Friday May 18th, Woodstock Minor Ball will orchestrate a 10 team tournament featuring competitors from Peterborough, Northumberland, Ancaster, Kitchener, Waterdown and more.  The age bracket competing is called “Rookie” which are 7-9 year olds.  They will be playing at the newly refurbished east and west diamonds at Southside Park just inside the stone entrance off of Wellington Street, North along with some play at Brompton Park.

Organizers will also hold a fundraising BBQ between the diamonds.

Victoria Day Parade - Monday May 21st, 2018

The Parade will leave the fairgrounds at 10:00 a.m. sharp and head west down Dundas Street to Wellington Street where it turns left and heads south over the railway overpass to Henry Street.  From Henry Street the parade will turn left onto Finkle Street and into Southside Park just over the creek by the cricket pitches.

The parade will feature over a dozen marching bands, stilt walkers, floats, vintage cars, walkers, clowns, Shriners and more.  If you or your group wish to participate in the parade it is FREE!

All applications for entry in the 2018 Victoria Day Parade must be received by our office by April 20th, 2018. Applications should be directed to:
