Woodstock 125
Anniversaries are an opportunity to reflect on our past, recognize our successes and look towards the future. Celebrating a City’s anniversary is an opportunity to foster community pride, reminisce and create connections.
We believe this makes a strong theme to anchor the 125th celebrations - Creating Connections. Staff and community partners are working to develop programs and initiatives that focus on:
- Creating Connections between people and businesses within the community.
- Creating Connections with place. We want people to feel connected to their community, their natural environment and their heritage. We want them to become invested in this place.
- Creating Connections between the past, present and future.
Get Involved
Because we are celebrating the history of our City (and who is a City without its people), we are committed to supporting participation and commemoration events from the community.
