Santa Claus Parade
Join us as we celebrate the most wonderful time of the year! The Santa Claus Parade will take place on Saturday, Nov. 21 starting at 6 p.m. and will feature holiday themed floats, marching bands, inflatables and an appearance from Mr. and Mrs. Claus!
This year's parade theme is Home for the Holidays: 125 Years of Woodstock. Applications for floats, walking groups, bands and shriners are now closed.

Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item if you're able. Volunteers will be collecting food donations along the parade route.

Our events, attracting thousands annually, rely on partners, sponsors, and volunteers. As a volunteer, have fun, meet new friends, earn hours, and make a community impact. Volunteer for one event or multiple, based on your interests and schedule.
Parade Route
The parade will depart from the Woodstock Fairgrounds (875 Nellis St.) down McKenzie Street and make its way west along Dundas Street, turning right onto Light Street to end in Victoria Park (413 Buller St.).

Know Before You Go
Plan ahead to get the best seats along the parade route!

Accessible parking will be available on Dundas Street between Vansittart Avenue and Light Street. You can park for free at many of the large lots along the parade route or at one of the municipal parking lots downtown. Watch for no parking signs displayed along the parade route. Any vehicles parked along the parade route after 5 p.m. will be towed to a nearby street. |

Road Closures |

Starting at 4 p.m., Nellis Street will be closed to traffic from West Avenue to Clarke Street North, as well as MacKenzie Avenue. Only parade participants will be allowed to enter the Fairgrounds. Gateway Casinos patrons should access the casino parking lot at Nellis Street and West Street from Rathbourne Avenue. As of 5 p.m., all roads will be closed along the parade route:
Police and City of Woodstock staff will be controlling traffic. Please be cautious and listen to their instruction. Any vehicles parked along the parade route after 5 p.m. will be towed to a nearby street. |
