Cowapolooza is celebrating it's 20th year! Join us at Southside Park for free entertainment, activities, food and marketplace vendors over two days. 

Cowapolooza Classics Friday, Aug. 18 from 5 to 9:30 p.m. 
Cowapolooza Kids Saturday, Aug. 19 from 2 to 6 p.m.
Cowapolooza Main Stage Saturday, Aug. 19 from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

*Please note that Southside Park, past the dry bridge, will be closed to vehicular traffic from Monday, Aug. 14 - Sunday, Aug. 20 to allow for event set-up. 

Cowapolooza Classics 

Presented by OLG. Relive the "good old days" with Cowapolooza Classics on Friday, Aug. 18, 5 - 9:30 p.m. 

Sit to enjoy a refreshingly cold beverage, with a main stage view in the Woodstock Lion's Club Beverage Garden. Cash, debit and credit is available.

Cowapolooza Car Show

From 5 - 8 p.m. classic cars will line Southside Park.

Bring your classic car to showcase during the Cowapolooza Car Show. Entry is free of charge. Classic cars should enter from Finkle St. between 4 - 5 p.m. Space is limited.

Cowapolooza Kids

Presented by Canadian Tire, Woodstock

Hey kids, this one is for you! The young and young at heart can enjoy a variety of free activities on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 2 - 6 p.m.

What better way to celebrate our 20th anniversary, then welcoming Canadian rockers, Sam Roberts Band! Join us as we close out two days of fun! This is a free concert, no tickets are required

Parking Options/Event Shuttle Bus

We're pleased to offer a free shuttle bus to and from Southside Park for Saturday's event. You can park for free at the Civic Centre Arena, located at 895 Nellis St., Woodstock, and hop on the FREE shuttle bus to Southside Park!

The shuttle will also stop on Wellington Street South, at the existing bus stops, between Dundas and Peel Streets for those looking to park in one of our Downtown parking lots

The shuttle runs Saturday, Aug. 19 from 4 p.m. - midnight. Buses will depart the Civic Centre every 15 minutes. 

NOTE: City Bus Route #7 will also be in service to Southside Park at :08 and :38 past the hour, until 10 p.m. (Regular transit fares apply).

If you aren't taking the free event shuttle, we recommend the following parking options. 

  • Accessible Parking in Southside Park, 192 Old Wellington St S. near the Main Washroom facilities.
  • Parking on nearby streets & limited parking in Southside Park, 192 Old Wellington St S.
  • Reeves Community Complex, 369, 375 & 381 Finkle St.
  • Jack Dunn Memorial Parking, 347 Finkle St.
  • College Avenue Secondary School, 700 College Ave
  • St. Mary's Catholic High School, 431 Juliana Dr.

Cowapolooza FAQs

Is this a free concert?

Yes, Cowapolooza is a free event. There is no tickets or admission needed to enjoy the music or activities. Vendors will also be on-site with food and merchandise available to purchase. 

Can I bring my own lawn chair

Yes, you are welcome to bring a lawn chair.

Is the venue pet friendly?

Yes, you can bring your furry friends, as long as the animal is on a leash. However, the event is very popular and the live music can be loud so consider how your pet's comfort in those environments.

Is this event all ages?

Yes, all ages are welcome to enjoy everything Cowapolooza has to offer! Families won't want to miss Cowapolooza Kids Saturday afternoon.

Is there a beverage garden?

Yes, there is a beverage garden area on-site. Cash, debit and credit will be accepted. This will be the only location alcohol is permitted.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

NO, please do not bring any alcoholic drinks with you on-site. There will be security, Police, Auxiliary and staff monitoring the event space.

What if there is inclement weather?

We carefully monitor the weather leading up to each event. Cancellation announcements will be posted on this webpage, as well as on all City of Woodstock social media outlets.

Where can I park?

You can find information about our parking options and free event shuttle, which operates Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight above. 

I have dietary requirements, can you accommodate me?

There are a variety of food vendors on-site. Please check each vendor's menu to see if they offer items that fit your needs. You can also bring your own food to the venue.
