Canada Day

Celebrate Canada Day on July 1, 2022 with us at Southside Park in Woodstock.

The park will be filled with fun for all ages, showcasing live music, a Canadian Kids Zone, marketplace and food vendors and ending the evening on a bang, with a spectacular fireworks show, brought to you by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc.!

*Please note that Southside Park, past the Dry Bridge, will be closed to vehicular traffic from Wednesday June 29 - July 2, 2022 to allow for event set-up. 

 Main Stage
 ** Schedule subject to change 
  • 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. Woodstock Lion's Club Beverage Garden. Sit to enjoy a refreshingly cold beverage, with a main stage view.
     
  • 2:05 to 2:25 p.m. Dance In Style, dance performance

  • 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Brian Neale
    Brian Neale brings the sounds of the islands to his fans across the world. Brian performs both his own material and the music of artists such as Jimmy Buffett and The Eagles.

  • 3:45 – 4:45 p.m. Jack Demarest
    Jack Demarest is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, singer & songwriter. Amazingly talented, Jack will have you signing along or simply listening to his raw talent.

  • 5:15 to 5:30 p.m. Opening Ceremonies

  • 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Do – Overs
    The Do-Overs are a high-energy cover band that plays a mix of classic rock, country and pop hits, with a goal to get the audience members up and groovin' on the dance floor.

  •  7:00 to 8:20 p.m. No Sugar Tonight 
    No Sugar Tonight is a tribute to one of the most iconic 60's, 70's bands to ever hit the stage, The Guess Who! Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings have been entertaining the music scene for over 40 years.
     

  • 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Scarecrow
    The #1 Tribute Show to John Cougar Mellencamp. Scarecrow faithfully recreates the energy and sonic soundscapes John Mellencamp and his band were known for in the 80s and 90s. Watching Scarecrow perform is a “Déjà vu experience” to many Mellencamp fans.
 Canadian Kids Zone
 All activities are free of charge!

  • 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Mrs. Sarah Face Painting
  • 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Pony Rides
  • 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Inflatable Obstacle Course
  • 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mini Ferris Wheel
  • 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Meet and Greet Moana, Rapunzel and Spiderman
  • 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Photobooth – Get your photo taken, while using fun Canada Day props, then take your photo home!
Fireworks

The Canada Day Firework show on Friday July 1, will end the evening with a BANG! 

Watch the Southside Park sky sparkle as it snaps, crackles and pops starting anytime between 9:30pm – 9:40pm
