Text: EnviroDepot Household Hazardous Waste and Bulk Item Drop Off

The EnviroDepot attendants will not allow entry to any contractors, commercial businesses, vehicles with advertising for businesses or organizations, vehicles registered CVOR, cargo vans, straight trucks, or rental companies.

No commercial waste is accepted at this site. These items may be dropped off at the Salford Landfill. Please visit the Oxford County Waste Management Facility for more information on operational hours, etc.

The EnviroDepot is a convenient service offered to Woodstock residents to help divert materials from the landfill and help get rid of items that cannot be collected as part of the curbside garbage and recycling collection. The entrance is off James Street (between Clarke Street South and Springbank Avenue).

This service is free for Woodstock residents, with the exception of items containing Freon. There is a $20 per item charge for all items containing Freon.

Residents of Oxford County may also use the EnviroDepot, however charges will apply depending on what is being dropped off.

You can drop off:

Absolutely no household garbage is accepted at this site.

If you are not sure if your item may be dropped off at the EnviroDepot, check the links above to find lists of acceptable materials or call 519-539-2382 ext. 3181.

Before it Becomes Waste...

The most effective way to reduce waste and protect our environment is to reduce, reuse and recycle!  Before dropping your items off at the depot, see if you can donate your items to a family member, a friend, or an organization.

  1. REgift: Give your furniture and other large items that are in good conditional to a relative or friend who can put them to good use.
  2. REuse: Donate items to an organization that accepts used goods.
  3. REdistribute: Post items on buy and sell websites. It is easier than you think!
