Downtown Parking

The City of Woodstock offers free two-hour street parking in downtown Woodstock unless otherwise posted. We also have a variety of municipal parking lots available.

Each of our municipal lots is designated as either two-hour free parking, permit parking, pay and display (available for $2) or a combination:

Two-Hour Free Parking: Patrons may park for two hours without charge between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Permit Parking: Patrons must purchase a monthly, semi-annual, or annual parking permit. Parking permits are only valid in our designated municipal parking lots. See the table below for the list of permit parking lots.  Parking permits are not valid on any street or two-hour-only posted municipal lots.

Pay and Display Parking: Patrons are required to get a ticket from the on-site pay and display machine and place the receipt on the dashboard of their vehicle. You can also purchase an electronic daily parking pass through the Hotspot Parking App or by scanning the QR Code on the signage in the lot.

Types of Parking Lots and Spaces Available

The table below identifies each municipal parking lot, the number of spaces and the type of parking permitted in that lot.  Some municipal lots are 2-hour parking only, and others are both permit parking and 2-hour parking.

Parking lots are first-come, first-served.  If your go to lot is full or under construction, you may park in another municipal lot, but please note whether it is two-hour parking only or if you require a permit to park there.
