Cowan Park Sportsplex
Cowan Park Sportsplex is located at 895 Ridgewood Dr. It is home to an indoor artificial turf field, gymnasium, pickleball courts and a walking track as well as 21 outdoor soccer fields, one multi-purpose field, a covered pavilion, playground and dog park. Our rates are as follows:
- Full Field: $268.17 (taxes included).
- 1/3 Field: $91.67 (taxes included).

Birthday Parties
Birthday Party Packages include two hours on the turf and a program instructor who will lead the party activities tailored to your interests. Staff will assist with set-up, facilitation of the activities and will also do the clean up for you!
Available party activities include soccer, obstacle courses, laser tag, nerf guns, imagination playground, and much more! The choice is yours, and you are welcome to use the equipment we offer.
Clean shoes must be worn on the turf and cleats are not permitted.
Fees (does not include food or decorations):
- $236.25 for up to 15 participating children
- $315 for 16 – 30 participating children
Birthday parties are available on Saturdays and Sundays with the following time slots:
- 10 a.m. – noon
- 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
- 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

You are welcome to arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking to organize, set-up, and be ready to welcome your guests.
Please allow for a minimum of three to five business days for processing. Birthday parties must be paid in full a minimum of two weeks prior to the event date.

| What dates and times do you offer? |
| We offer Saturday and Sunday birthday party events with three different time slot options. 10 a.m. – noon, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. and 4 - 6 p.m. |
| How much does a birthday party package cost? |
|
Birthday party packages are two hours in length and cost: $236.25 for up to 15 participating children $315 for 16-30 participating children |
| What spaces are we permitted to use? |
| During your two-hour birthday party event, we offer 1/3 turf as well as the multi-purpose room for your event. Birthday partygoers are welcome to use both spaces for the two hours. Often, we find that the majority of birthday parties engage in activities on the turf for 80 per cent of the time, and use the multi-purpose room for 20 per cent of the time with snacking, eating, gift giving, etc. |
| Will staff be on-site to facilitate the turf activities? |
| YES! If you have selected a birthday party with up to 15 children, one recreation staff will be on-site to set up, coordinate and lead the activities on the turf. If you have selected a birthday party with 16 to 30 children, two recreation staff will be provided. |
| What types of activities can we choose from? |
| Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by your recreation staff who will connect with you about the activities that your child is most interested in. These activities include soccer, frisbee, football, flag football, obstacle courses, laser tag, and nerf guns. For parties with children under the age of 8 years old, we can also offer our Imagination Station building blocks playground. The number of activities is up to you and your child. We find that typically 1-3 activities have the most success! |
