Southside Aquatic Centre changeroom renovations begin week of Sept. 14

Improvements to the changerooms at Southside Aquatic Centre are scheduled to begin the week of Sept. 14, 2026. The project includes an addition and renovations to the existing universal changeroom, which will create more space and improve accessibility for users. 

The pool is expected to remain open during the renovations unless any unanticipated disruptions or closures occur. Lane swimming, public swimming, aquatic fitness programs and swimming lessons will continue to be offered throughout the fall. The male and female changerooms will also remain available. Access to an alternative universal changing space will be provided for those who require it upon request.
