Pittock Dam Safety Boom Installation

A safety boom is being installed on Pittock reservoir near the dam beginning on Monday, Nov. 9, 2026. Contractors will be working on the dam embankment, in the reservoir and along the trail to the east of the dam.

The safety boom is being installed in the reservoir to enhance public safety, in compliance with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Canadian Dam Association Guidelines.

We appreciate your cooperation in giving them plenty of space to complete this important work. Upper Thames River Conservation Authority will post when the installation is complete on the Pittock Conservation Area social media profiles.
