Cowan Park Sportsplex: Turf and walking track closed starting Aug. 24

Starting Monday, Aug. 24, Cowan Park Sportsplex will be undergoing maintenance and facility upgrades including the replacement of the artificial turf.

The walking track and indoor turf will be closed to the public until the work is complete. The gym and multi-purpose room will remain open for drop-in activities, pickleball and recreation programs.

Construction on the Sportsplex parking lot will also be taking place this fall. Staff are currently finalizing plans for the project, and more information about construction dates and access to the facility will be announced once the details are confirmed.
