Voting Night Results Reporting

Today - Monday, October 26, 2026 - is Voting Day for the Municipal and School Board elections. In Woodstock, in-person polls are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. When the polls close, the City’s Clerk will begin receiving the voting tabulators and reporting the results. The final results reporting will be posted online at www.cityofwoodstock.ca/electionresults

Beginning at 7 p.m., Council Chambers at City Hall, 500 Dundas St., will be open to candidates, media and members of the public and the results will be available to view on the screen.

Once all the Voting Day polls have been reported, the City will issue a news release with the unofficial election results. The release will be posted to the City’s website and social media channels. It’s important to note that the school board trustee positions represent all of Oxford County. The results presented through the City’s live results reporting will only reflect the Woodstock results.

Once the Clerk compiles the school board trustee results from across Oxford County and verifies the results from all contests, they will declare the official results. The official results will be posted online and distributed via news release and social media.
