Scam alert: Phone calls claiming to be from Woodstock Fire Department
We have received reports of community members getting phone calls from individuals claiming to represent Woodstock Fire Department and asking for monetary donations.
Woodstock Fire Department does not solicit donations from the public.
If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately. Do not provide personal or financial information or send money.
Suspicious calls can be reported to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1-888-495-8501.
