Nomination Period Extended for Conseil scolaire catholique Providence Trustee Position
The City of Woodstock is advising residents that an additional nomination opportunity will be provided for the office of Conseil scolaire catholique Providence (French Separate) Trustee, representing the Counties of Oxford, Elgin, and Middlesex, in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.
The extension provides eligible individuals with an opportunity to submit their nomination for this important role serving French-language separate school electors. Individuals interested in running must be Canadian citizens, at least 18 years old, residents of Ontario, Roman Catholic, and eligible to vote for the Conseil scolaire catholique Providence Trustee.

Under Section 33(5) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, an additional nomination period is provided where the number of certified candidates is less than the number of offices to be filled.
Individuals interested in serving as a trustee are encouraged to review the nomination requirements and submit the necessary documentation during the additional nomination period.
