Newly Redeveloped Tournament-Calibre Disc Golf Course at Pittock Conservation Area

The City of Woodstock, in partnership with the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA), Fluent Disc Sport Inc., Visser Construction and Elevation Tree Service is pleased to announce the completion of major upgrades to the 18‑hole disc golf course at Pittock Conservation Area - one of Southern Ontario’s most popular and long‑standing disc golf destinations.

Originally established in 2001, the course has been fully redesigned and expanded to create a modern, tournament‑calibre recreational asset that welcomes players of all skill levels. The revitalized layout features separate red (recreational) and blue (advanced) tees, along with a hybrid white layout offering an intermediate challenge. Depending on the layout played, the course ranges from Par 60 to Par 61.

Players will now enjoy large artificial turf tee pads, Fluent Borealis Championship Baskets, and brand‑new tee signage. The redesign also introduces new wooded fairways, elevation changes, strategic landing zones, and enhanced shot‑shaping opportunities - all while maintaining a welcoming experience for newer players.

“This redevelopment brings a fresh, exciting energy to Pittock Conservation Area,” said Reta Horan, City of Woodstock Supervisor of Parks and Forestry. “We’re proud to offer a free, high‑quality recreational experience that supports casual play, league nights, and major tournament events.”

The course is located in the park’s free day‑use section at 221 Pittock Park Road and is open daily from dawn until dusk. The course layout is available through the UDisc app.
