Highlights from the April 2 Council Meeting
Woodstock, ON – Thursday’s Council meeting began at 1:30 p.m. and began with a delegation.
- Council heard from the Chair of the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority about the Province’s recent announcement regarding the consolidation of conservation authorities in Ontario.
- Council received correspondence and approved a request from the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners to post signs on City property to promote an annual charity fundraiser - IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s - on May 30.
2026 Community Grant Program
Council agreed to allocate the following community grants for the 2026 Spring intake:

| Woodstock Minor Ball Association | $3,080.00 |
| Woodstock Rotary Music Festival | $5,000.00 |
| Woodstock Wildcats Girls Hockey Association | $7,210.00 |
| Total Amount Requested | $81,595.00 |
