Physician Training Scholarship
In 2024, the City launched a new physician training scholarship. The initiative offers $1,000 scholarships for up to five individuals in the community currently enrolled in a medical school or family medicine residency program, with emphasis placed on the pursuit of practicing family medicine. Applicants can apply annually for a maximum of five years.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, you must be:
- A resident of the City of Woodstock (or Oxford County).
- Currently enrolled in a medical school or family medicine residency program recognized by the Medical Council of Canada (MCC).
