Para-Transit
If your para-transit registration is due to expire or has expired, please contact the Engineering Department at 519-539-2382 ext. 3102 and 3104.
Our specialized transit service is provided by the City of Woodstock and offers door to door scheduled service. Specialized transportation is intended for persons who, due to a functional limitation, cannot board, ride or disembark from Woodstock Transit fixed-routes. Specialized Transit Application
To be eligible to use our specialized transit service, the Para-Transportation Application form must be filled out in its entirety and returned to us at the Engineering Department at 944 James Street, either in-person or by regular mail to 944 James Street, Woodstock, ON N4S 0B5, or you can email your application.
Please ensure you have a medical professional complete Part B of the application before submitting it. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will be contacted to schedule your photo appointment for your Para-transit ID Card. You will not be able to book and any rides with para-transit until you have your Photo ID Card.
Please note: The Engineering Department is currently undergoing renovations with no public access. If you are dropping off your applications in person or by regular mail our Customer Service Representatives are temporarily located at the Market Centre Building, located at 21 Market Street, Woodstock, ON N4S 1H6.

Booking Rides
All specialized transit rides must be booked a minimum 24 hours in advance. Same day rides are available depending on space. To book a ride please call 519-539-2382 ext. 2510 or book online.
Specialized Transit Fare
As of April 1, 2021 registered specialized transit users can no longer ride conventional service for free. All passes accepted by our conventional transit are also accepted by our specialized transit service. Fare is required at the time of boarding. Exact change is required when paying for a single ride. Cash fare for a single ride is $2.75. Riders with inadequate fare will be declined service. Drivers are required to follow their manifests and are not permitted to change your scheduled destination or book return rides.
