Fire Stations

Woodstock Fire Department is comprised of two fire stations covering the entire City of Woodstock. The Fire Department Headquarters is located at Station 1. There are 48 full-time firefighters divided into 4 fire-platoons. Each platoon consists of maximum 12 firefighters ready to respond to fires and emergencies (More than just Fires) 24-hours a day and 7 days a week. 

Fire Station No. 1

Built in 1974 Fire Station 1 is the Headquarters Station, housing the Administration, Fire Prevention, Training, and Suppression Divisions. In 2018, an addition to the administration side of the building as well as additional drive-through apparatus bay was built. Fire Station 1 is currently staffed with 8 firefighters, 5 fire apparatus vehicles, and all other support/prevention vehicles.

Fire Station No. 2 

Fire Station 2 was built in 1990 and it is staffed with 4 firefighters and 2 fire apparatus vehicles. Station 2 is located at           251 Vansittart Avenue Woodstock Ontario N4S 5H8.

Aerial 1: 2021 Pierce 107 foot aerial ladder truck 

Ladder 1: 2005 American LaFrance 75 foot aerial ladder truck

Engine 1: 2023 Pierce Enforcer HDRP pumper truck

Engine 2: 2013 Pierce pumper truck

Engine 3: 2019 Pierce pumper truck

Rescue Command: 2009 International Navistar truck

Rescue Boat: 16 foot 2Tinga with 30-hp evinrude motor

2012 Dodge Ram 3500 (Training 1) is used to support fire suppression activities as well as training

2008 John Deere Gator support vehicle

1929 Bickle Pumper truck (Retired from Service)

Also part of the fleet are 2 fire prevention/inspection/education Toyota RAV4 vehicles, 1 Chevy Colorado fire investigation unit, 2 Ford Explorer vehicles and 1 fire prevention/education trailer.
