Reason: Road Reconstruction

Detour: From Parkinson Road the bus will turn right on Eastpark Drive, left on Walter Street to regular route.

Temporary Stops: Parkinson Road and Eastpark Drive

Detour:  The bus will turn left at the round-about off Fairway Road and use Lakeview Drive to access Highway 59

Bus stops closed:  Both bus stops on Fairway Road, south of the roundabout will be closed.

Temporary bus stop locations: 

  • A temporary bus stop will be located on Lakeview Drive at the Sally Creek Community Centre.
  • A temporary bus stop located on Hwy 59 at Fairway Road to service the Sally Creek Bistro area.

Effective Monday, November 2, 2020, Route #6 (Southwest) will change its routing from Norwich Avenue at Parkinson Road. 

The bus will now continue north on Norwich Avenue, turn left on Pavey Street, turn right on Fyfe Avenue and continue to regular route to the Terminal.

TWO BUS STOP RELOCATIONS - Due to route change, two stops are discontinued and relocated:

  1. Norwich Avenue at Parkinson Road (North Side)
  2. Pavey Street - Opposite #742

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, inactive paratransit recreational subscription rides are being temporarily cancelled.  For further information, please call 519-539-2382 ext. 2510.

Posted: Tuesday, August 11, 2020 - Transit Fares Required
Effective Thursday, August 13, 2020, 
transit riders will be required to either use their ONECard or exact change to ride the conventional and specialized transit buses.  Please be sure to reload your electronic bus cards at least 48 hours prior to riding the bus.  We regret that there will be no refunds on any partially used/expired monthly bus passes purchased in March/April of 2020 as a fair and reasonable compensation for providing free bus service to all riders for the past four months.  Our drivers do not have the means to provide change for cash rides. 

Passengers will be able to board the front doors once again.  Please be mindful that masks are now mandatory on all Public Transit Vehicles, unless you are exempt.

Posted: Friday, July 10, 2020 - Transit Returning to Full Bus Service
Effective Monday, July 13, Woodstock Transit will be returning to full bus service.  All bus routes will once again resume operating at thirty minute intervals during regular operating hours.  See City's COVID-19 webpage for more details.

Posted: Wednesday, May 13, 2020 - Additional Buses During Peak Hours
Effective Tuesday, May 19, Woodstock Transit will be adding three buses from 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. as well as three additional buses from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.  

All routes during other time periods, including Saturdays will remain on hourly service until further notice.

Woodstock Transit will suspend fares for the duration of the COVID -19 Pandemic Protocol as initiated by the City of Woodstock.  Please visit our COVID-19 webpage for details.

T:GO Transit

T:GO Transit is a community transportation service providing an alternative, low cost means of transportation within Tillsonburg and surrounding areas.  The provision of Transit Services is provided on a contractual basis, in partnership with the Town of Tillsonburg. 

T:GO offers 1 fully accessible, service animal friendly, air conditioned & heated, 9 passenger seated bus with a capacity of 12.

Transit Study

Transit Services conducted an internal Transit Study, which was approved by City Council earlier this year.  Public Information Centre meetings were held in July 2019 at City Hall Council Chambers with the proposed route maps and feedback forms. A survey was also posted online for residents who could not make it to the meetings, which closed mid-August.

Christmas Day: Friday, December 25, 2020 NO Transit or Para-transit Services
Boxing Day: Saturday, December 26, 2020 NO Transit or Para-transit Services
New Years Day: Friday, January 1, 2021 NO Transit or Para-transit Services
Family Day: Monday, February 15, 2021 NO Transit or Para-transit Services

 Transit and Para-transit WILL BE OPERATING on the following special holidays:

Remembrance Day: Wednesday, November 11, 2020 REGULAR Transit & Para-transit Services
Christmas Eve: Thursday, December 24, 2020 Transit & Para-transit Services ends at 8:00 p.m.
