Detour:  The bus will turn left at the round-about off Fairway Road and use Lakeview Drive to access Highway 59

Bus stops closed:  Both bus stops on Fairway Road, south of the roundabout will be closed.

Temporary bus stop locations:

  • A temporary bus stop will be located on Lakeview Drive at the Sally Creek Community Centre.
  • A temporary bus stop located on Hwy 59 at Fairway Road to service the Sally Creek Bistro area.

Transit Services conducted an internal Transit Study, which was approved by City Council earlier this year.  Public Information Centre meetings were held in July 2019 at City Hall Council Chambers with the proposed route maps and feedback forms. A survey was also posted online for residents who could not make it to the meetings, which closed mid-August.  This Study will be revisited in the near future.

More information can be found on the Municipal Studies and Plans web page.

April 8, 2021 - New Seventh Route for Conventional Bus System Coming Soon

Woodstock Transit is excited to announce the expansion of a new seven route conventional bus system, recently approved and endorsed by City Council.

In the coming weeks and months we will continue to share information as our plans firm up. The residents and businesses of Woodstock will have more travel options available as we will introduce bus service to underserved residential areas, permit On Street transfers, and our Industrial locations will soon offer many local residents employment opportunities.

We are targeting a launch prior to Labor Day of  2021 and will update this page frequently.
