Building Deposits

Where a deposit has been paid in accordance with the provisions of this by-law and remains unclaimed for a period of six (6) years, the Treasurer for the Corporation may cause to be published a notice containing a list of unclaimed deposits, including the name of the depositor, and stating that all persons having any claim to such deposits are required to prove their claim within ninety (90) days from the date of publication of the notice and upon expiration of the ninety (90) days from the publication of such notice, the Treasurer for the Corporation may transfer all deposits against which no claim has been made to the general funds of the Corporation free of, and from any and all claims of any kind whatsoever.
