Woodstock residents will still be able to drop off large items, construction materials, electronics and household hazardous waste. For a full list of acceptable materials, visit www.cityofwoodstock.ca/envirodepot
Why can’t people drop off household recycling at the EnviroDepot?

Why can’t people drop off green bin / organics materials at the EnviroDepot?
The City does not have regulated authority to accept and process organic material at the EnviroDepot.
Can people drop off household garbage at the EnviroDepot?
The EnviroDepot is a convenience depot intended to help divert waste from the landfill. Residents can either place household garbage at the curb for collection on their collection day, or drop off materials to the Salford Landfill, 384060 Salford Rd, Salford.
Why is Styrofoam no longer accepted at the EnviroDepot?
Styrofoam is included in the acceptable materials for curbside recycling under the new provincial recycling program and can therefore no longer be accepted at the EnviroDepot.
