Woodstock Day

Woodstock Day 2021 has been cancelled

For the past 15 years, Woodstock & area baseball fans have participated in our annual Woodstock Day @ the Rogers Centre.  Traditionally we have promoted this popular program as a “beat the winter blahs” event and have reserved tickets for one of the two Blue Jay weekend home stands in the month of April.  This year those weekend series will be against the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.

The Blue Jays organization have employed a premium pricing format for visiting elite teams, meaning an increase of over 30% for the same field level seats we have enjoyed the past number of years. This translates into a $92 dollar ticket even after our group sales incentive.

The impetus of this program, in concert with the Toronto Blue Jays was to offer an affordable day at the ball park geared primarily to families and seniors.

Unfortunately, we feel that with the annual increase in ticket prices, we are unable to sustain the original purpose of this annual demonstration of civic pride, and with the consent of City Council have decided to cancel this year’s trip. We would like to thank those that have constantly supported Woodstock Day – the fans, the volunteers and certainly the sponsors.
