“I like to take familiar, ordinary scenes and make them less familiar. Qualities of mystery, wonder, luminosity, poetry… the parallel world of reflections attracts my eye. As a fine art photographer, I am an interpreter, a responder to the scenes in front of my camera. I don't create landscapes and figurative work; I interpret them, attempting to capture their serenity, calmness and poetic quality.”
