“In Woodland Visitor, I wanted to capture the openness of a local woodland. In this setting, there was an abundance of birch trees in many stages of growth, along with a dense undergrowth, dressed with a morning mist obscuring the deeper-set trees. The fox, a frequent visitor to the woodland, is captured in surprise at my presence as he tracks through the drying bracken and trees to his lair.”
