“Airborne is almost all collage with a bit of marker and oil pastel here and there. Before beginning this piece I created mono prints, jelly prints, and abstract paintings that I tore into pieces to create the image. You will also see various found paper from magazines, maps and sheet music. The photo that inspired this work shows my daughter in that split second when she was literally airborne.”
