“A quiet place just off the trail in Roth Park. Late afternoon sun splashed across a clearing. A cool breeze from the Pittock Reservoir. That’s all. Dots of different coloured inks. Quite by accident, it passed in front of my lamp and entered a new dimension. Back-lit with spotlights, it became something unintended: an experimental installation, a visual theremin perhaps, but still, a quiet place just off the beaten track.”
