Annette Martin has been exploring & developing her skills in the visual arts since childhood. She began by approaching realism, while studying Fine Art at Fanshawe College, with a sense of humour and wit. Her more recent works explore the play of colour while exploring environmental issues through her imaginary landscapes and cityscapes. You can find a strong influence in her work by artists such as Norval Morrisseau and Paul Yuxweluptun.
