Teacher Appreciation Night
Join us for an evening of fun creativity, meaningful conversation, and prizes! Learn about WAG school programs, partnerships, classes, and events offered throughout the school year. High School Portfolio Day
High School Portfolio Day is a single-day workshop designed for students attending high school. The program provides an opportunity for students to connect with and gain insight into the practices and current issues of local arts professionals. (Details to follow). Watercolour Painting: Bold + Free
Ages 13+
Explore the possibilities of imagination and imagery discovered through watercolour painting. Students new to watercolour will come to understand its fluid qualities and vivid sensations. An individual approach to subjects will be encouraged and augmented by techniques, including viewing examples from WAG’s permanent collection. Open to beginners and novice students. Materials list will be provided upon registration.

Introduction to Acrylic Painting
Ages 13+
In this workshop, students will be introduced to acrylic paint through a series of exercises. Experience a variety of techniques and styles with instructor Lindsay Liboiron. Practice colour blending and explore basic colour theory. By the end of the day, students will complete a small painting with guided instruction by Lindsay using the same photo reference provided. All tools and materials are included in the cost of registration.

Mindful Mark-Making
Ages 13+
This series of workshops is designed for anyone open and curious about exploring their creativity. Discover a variety of mark-making exercises. Develop or hone art fundamentals and self-expressions through practice and process. Each month, experiment with different tools, materials and techniques. No experience necessary. Everyone welcome!

Celebrating Me Workshop
Ages 13+
Presented by Carleana De Wilde (she/her), CSC-CPLC., M.A.A.Ed., Negotiator, Mediator, Crisis Intervention System Management Specialist, R2 Resilience Expert and artist, this program is a fun, non-clinical and exciting way to rediscover your self-confidence. This program is designed through a trauma-informed lens that invites registrants to consider, explore and implement resiliency coping skills in a safe environment. Join Carleana each week to focus on connecting with self through the creative process of movement, nutrition, reflection and stillness. No experience necessary. Everyone welcome!
