WAG Printmaking Studio

IMPRINTING GENERATIONS is an innovative, environmentally responsible printmaking studio, where hands-on methods, practices and above all, a passion for art will be shared by senior artist mentors.  These mentors, with the help of other senior volunteers, enable us to create a safe environment where enjoyable and positive inter-generational learning takes place. This program fosters well-being through creative communities. It enables seniors, adults and youth, an opportunity to come together to explore WAG's rich permanent collection of historical and contemporary prints while developing their own artistic and self-expressive skills by working alongside some of southwestern Ontario's senior printmakers. Empowering seniors to connect, share, and engage with one another and our youth in a creative environment encourages social participation and brings a sense of belonging to our community members in a time of need. IMPRINTING GENERATIONS leaves a lasting impact.
