Sensory Support Kits

The Woodstock Art Gallery offers Sensory Support Kits in collaboration with Autism Canada and Oxford Community Foundation. These kits aim to create a more accessible and inclusive experience for all visitors, especially those who are neurodivergent or sensory-sensitive.

Sensory Support Kits are designed to help visitors manage sensory inputs so they can explore the gallery comfortably and independently.

Each kits includes:

  • Soft plush friend
  • Cozy fleece blanket
  • Noise reduction earmuffs
  • Tinted safety glasses
  • Fidget toys

Sensory Support Kits are available for free at the front desk to all visitors.

Frequently Asked Questions

 What is the cost of admission?
Admission to the Woodstock Art Gallery is free or by donation. You can use our Tiptap donation stand to donate $5, $10 or $20 with a tap of your debit or credit card. We also accept cash donations at the collection boxes on the first floor in the lobby and inside the Dr. Leonard Reeves Gallery.
 Is the gallery accessible?

We strive to provide an accessible experience for all visitors. Our facility includes an elevator, automatic doors and accessible washrooms on every floor. Two wheelchairs are available for on-site use. Visitors can also request a Sensory Support Kit at the front desk.

Accessibility is additionally considered as part of the gallery’s exhibitions and education programs. Please see the Woodstock Art Gallery’s Practical Accessibility Guide for more information.

 Where can I park?
Free 2-hour street parking is available downtown, with an accessible parking space located outside the gallery’s main entrance on Dundas Street. Free 2-hour or pay and display parking is also available at several municipal lots downtown.
 Does the gallery sell artwork?

The Woodstock Art Gallery's gift shop features unique items crafted by local artists including pottery, stained glass, jewelry, fibre arts, paintings, prints, art cards and more. A variety of WAG-branded products and other merchandise is also available in the gift shop.

 Does the gallery have a café?
The Woodstock Art Gallery does not have a café on site, however there are many excellent restaurants located within walking distance downtown. We encourage visitors to ask for recommendations and directions at the front desk.
