Past Highlights 2019

The Friends of the Woodstock Art Gallery Legacy Scholarship

This year’s winner is Mya Eichler. Mya will be attending Sheridan College in the Fall to pursue Interior Decorating. Congratulations!

Youthquake 2019 is an amazing night filled with the talents of our local youths. This event is created by and for youths. It is a FREE evening and we encourage everyone to attend.

This year we saw the talents of students from Ingersoll District Collegiate Institute music performance. A choir from Northdale Public School, clay work from students at Woodstock Christian School and a room full of posters from students at Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys Elementry School.

Classes and Workshops

The WAG offered a variety of classes through the 2018/2019 school year. Here are some highlights from some of the classes and workshops.

Let's Talk About Art

The WAG is pleased to announce a new monthly program for anyone interested in art and art appreciation. Every 4th week of the month, like-minded individuals get together and engage in meaningful conversation in a safe space. This program offered monthly topics, guest speakers and artful conversations aimed to inspire the artist within and explore possibilities.

 Family Day 2019

The WAG opens its doors every year on Family Day to offer FREE family fun drop-ins. The day starts off with a Family fun film at Gallery Cinemas, and from there Families can spend the day exploring the Woodstock Art Gallery, the Woodstock Museum, Theatre Woodstock and then end the day at the Community Complex in the Goff Hall playing family games.
