This piece was an art project I did in school with acrylics. We were learning about shadows and blending colours. This was all new to me and I was very proud of the outcome of this piece. The original toy is from a vintage fisher price set and was nostalgic for many people that admired it. I learned about shadows and highlights and that is what made the yellow hat stand out and I felt the smile on the toy brought a smile to my face too.
