My inspiration was the Avatar Way Of Water movie. I really loved the colours, characters, and graphics. I tried to incorporate all these things into my work. This painting is all free-handed with acrylic paint. I enjoy painting things like sunsets and waves because they are vibrant and fun. In my painting, I have an Avatar riding a majestic sea creature called a Tulkun in the foreground, riding in front of a planet in the background, and jumping out of the wavy water in the middle-ground, with an underwater scene in the foreground. I really enjoyed painting this with all the blues, pinks, and purples. Avatar is such a great inspiration, not just for art but in life — how to overcome difficult situations and to live life to the fullest.
