For this artwork I decided to symbolize death in a few ways. The vines, flowers and leaves symbolize what can grow out/ arise because of another's passing. The vines symbolize things and emotions that you can’t let go of, things that won’t go away because of the passing. The flowers each symbolize something to do with death; the poppy is the death itself, the petunia is the unpleasant feelings and emotions that stem from death, the marguerite symbolizes the good memories, and the forget-me-not symbolizes the never ending love.
