Graphite drawing of a broken glass in front of a broken window

My art represents hardships of pulling yourself together after a heartbreaking event. In this drawing I depicted what it feels like to look at a person broken from troubles. It shows that behind every broken or used thing there is a story behind it. The story behind the glass and the window will change depending on the person's experiences in life. The glass shards aren’t close to the broken glass in the drawing as it is meant to represent the difficulties of finding the right pieces of yourself after being torn down. There is light shining through the glass window, representing that when you're broken you can thrive.
