Exhibition Proposals
The exhibition programming schedule is rigorously planned to reflect both contemporary and historical, art as well as highlighting selections drawn from the Gallery’s permanent collection.
Due to funding opportunities, the WAG plans exhibitions at least three years in advance. We appreciate your interest however not all submissions can be accommodated. Selected submissions will be contacted directly.
Submission Guidelines
Submissions are received on an ongoing basis and should include the following:
- Current CV (max. 3 pages)
- Brief biography (max. 300 words)
- Up to 5 images of recent work with accompanying image list detailing artist’s name, titles, date, medium and dimension of each work
- Brief artist statement (max. 300 words)
- Brief description of the proposed exhibition (max. 300 words)
- Any additional relevant support material, such as publications or reviews (max. 5 pages in PDF format)
Ontario Arts Council Exhibition Assistance Grants
The Woodstock Art Gallery is a third party recommender for Ontario Arts Council (OAC) Exhibition Assistance Grants. Limited funds are available and eligible applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
The 2022/2023 program runs June 23, 2022 to January 13, 2023. Please visit the OAC website for submission guidelines.
