Saturday, September 23, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

The Woodstock Art Gallery’s popular Taste of Art fundraiser is making its grand return on September 23, 2023, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Launched in 2015, Taste of Art has been on hiatus for the last three years due to the pandemic. We are excited to welcome our community back in person for a raucous night of artful experiences, bodacious beverages and local cuisine!

This year's event will take over all three floors of the Woodstock Art Gallery with stations for sampling and tastings from local food and craft beverage producers, music, live performances, art activities and more!

Thank you to our sponsors!

  • Lead Sponsor: Investment Planning Counsel
  • Media Sponsor: Heart FM
This is a 19+ event. Ticket sales are final (no refunds).

Entertainment
Theatre Woodstock Kennedy Wilson and Nikki Sloan will perform a playlet titled Belles of the West End written by Thomas Hischuk as part of a larger series of plays called Standing Room Only. This funny little playlet focuses on the lives of two British Char Women who are cleaning the stage of a high-end theatre in the ritzy West-End section of London, England.

Harbourtown Sound — Harbourtown Sound is an award-winning, professional chorus of amateur singers offering a wide range of sounds and entertainment styles to bring back fond memories or create new ones.

Scotch Tasting with Alan Taylor —  Hosting a scotch tasting and discussing the differences between blended scotch whisky and single malt whisky, Alan Taylor will provide guests the ability to build on their knowledge of scotch and teach new learners the basics.

D'eve Archer D’eve Archer has performed in various locations worldwide, never staying in one physical location for very long. The stage became her home as she blended musical elements of her Jamaican heritage, with her small town Canadian upbringing, all shaped by a classical training in music.

The Traveling Tapster With two special cocktails created for Taste of Art, The Traveling Tapster will demonstrate how to prepare each drink and share the history of the alcohol used in the beverages.

Cooking Demonstration with 1909 Culinary Academy — Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls are packed with bright, fresh flavours, colourful local vegetables, and served with your choice of our insanely addictive Peanut Dipping Sauce, or our signature Soy Ginger Sauce. Rice wraps are perfect as an appetizer or the main course for your next meal featuring international flavours. With a couple of cheeky tricks and tips, you’ll be rolling rice wraps like a pro in no time. If you’re feeling adventurous, we’ll step back and let you try your hand at wrapping your very own rice wrap.
