Florence Wyle was the first woman sculptor to become a full member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, and, along with her partner, Frances Loring, worked primarily from their studio in Toronto. While she preferred working on large scale sculptures, in Nuzzling Children Wyle has created is a portrait of intimacy.
