This was my first time working on printmaking and as someone who does not particularly enjoy art projects; I didn’t find it very interesting. I really enjoy being outside. Sometime I just wander and other times I skateboard. If I were going to choose a kind of art to look at, it would probably be photos of the outdoors.

I decided my print for the artwork is a bunch of lines all together. The reason why I did it was because I didn't like my original one so I cut it into lines/bricks then I put it all together then it made a weird design. To make mine, I started with thinking what I wanted to do then we went to a foam piece and then lino. After all of that, we carved it out with an Exacto knife when everyone was done doing that we put this ink on it to make out design. The colors we used were black and blue everyone got to choose what color they wanted I choose both because I thought it looked nice with my design. This experience was awesome and cool. I loved how my design turned out. Thank you!!

For my art piece I used lino and I used an Exacto knife to carve it out my work is unique because I did not copy a pattern. My influence is my favorite artist, Raphael. I used blue and black because it looked really good with my pattern. Then I used an Exacto knife to carve it out on lino. I made 2 copies to see which one was perfect. My pattern is asymmetrical and my pattern is symbolic. My pattern is about to current world issues/topics, and symbolizes that there is an organization that helps people, and they have the same symbol and I used into a pattern. My pattern is blue black blue black blue black and I made this pattern because it is a really interesting image that is why I made this pattern and a lot of people use this symbol for something.

The reason I chose this shape to do is because it was different, it was different from all the others and it was something that I was interested in. I wanted to draw and create something unique that no one else would have done and something that I thought was interesting. But then also this was something that I could have actually been able to design and not something that I couldn't or couldn't do well. Overall, I thought it was cool and it was something that I wanted to do as soon as I saw it. And how I found and chose this was I was just searching the internet and I kept coming back to it to compare it to the other ones to see which one I wanted to do more and it kept being the one I wanted to do. It reminded me of the Bermuda triangle and that's always been something that I've been interested in. I didn't really see anyone else try to do it. The people sitting beside me at the time said and I quote “that is a cool structure” so instantly I knew that was the symbol I wanted to do because it was different and unique I was interested in the shape and it was liked by other people too. This was just an overall fun experience! I hope many people have the opportunity to do this art piece and my end goal is that either this could maybe blow up and I could become famous or that people could just look at this and give them enough courage to do whatever they would like to do in the future.
