2023 Program Information
We’re excited to bring back the Tour of Lights, hosted by Woodstock Transit. Guests will board a City bus and enjoy a 50-minute tour of some of the spectacular holiday light displays around the City.
This year’s tour will take place Sunday, Dec. 10 and Sunday, Dec. 17. Each night there will be five buses departing at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tours depart and arrive at the Woodstock Transit Terminal, 623 Dundas St.
Tickets are $3 per person and will be available for sale in-person starting Wednesday, Nov. 29 at Woodstock City Hall (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Tickets must be purchased in advance and there is a limit of six tickets per order because seating is limited. All proceeds from ticket sales go towards the United Way.
Guests who are able are also invited to bring a non-perishable food item for the Salvation Army.
The tour is approximately 50 minutes, but please allow 1 hour and 15 minutes from your departure time.
Light displays
Staff will be on the lookout for properties to feature on the tour so make sure your lights are up and on between Dec. 1 and Dec. 8.
Tour Maps
We will also put together a map of the light displays that will be featured on the tour for those who are either unable to attend the tour or prefer to explore on their own. Maps are $5 and will be available for sale in person at Woodstock City Hall and Southside Aquatic Centre starting Dec. 11. Proceeds from the map sales will also go to the United Way.
