Rec Online Portal - Getting Started

The following information is for the City's current registration system. We will be moving to a new platform in 2024. Please visit our Online Registration page for more information. 

This walkthrough is designed to guide first-time registers through the process of creating an account and registering for their first program. After reviewing the steps, click the 'Start Registration' button below to begin the registration process.

Start Registration

When you are ready to book your first program on the City of Woodstock's Online Registration system, the Legend Online Portal. Follow these instructions to search for a program and create an account.

1. Program Search

To search for a desired program, use the search filters located in the top right corner of the registration portal. Filter alow you to select a particular program based on the facility where it is offered (Aquatics, Museum, etc), or based on other criterion such as age, date and time.

After searching, a list of programs will be displayed that match the criteria. If no programs are found, adjust the search filters to allow for a broader search. Once you have found a program that interests you, click on the program and it will take you to a more details outline of the program.

2. Account Registration

If you are happy with your program choice, click the register button. You will be prompted to log in, but instead of following this prompt, you should first click the 'Click to register for an online account' button towards the bottom of the window. If you have already been in contact with staff at the City and have been provided with a username and password, you can skip the registration steps below and proceed with logging into your account.

In order to register, you will be asked to fill in your personal information and to select a password for your account. Be sure to make note of your password as you will need to use this to access your account when registering for future programming.

On the following screen you can add additional family members and group them to your account. This allows parents to manage the accounts of children in their family. If the family member that you wish to link to your account has not yet been registered with the online registration software then click Create User in the New Participant button. You will be presented with a simple form to complete.

Once completed, the newly registered family member will be available to select in your participant list. This process only needs to be completed once--the next time you make a booking they will already be listed in your participant list.

3. Program Registration

You are now ready to select the participant in your family that you would like to register for your selected program! To register, click the Add To Card button in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Next, you will be taken to your cart where you will be asked to review the terms and conditions. If you would like to add additional programs, you can go back to the search window by clicking on Search for Programs under the Bookings/Programs/Camps tab. If you do not wish to add additional programs and are ready to finish your transaction, click the Proceed to Payment button.

To register, follow the on screen prompts to enter your payment information. Once completed, click the Pay Now button. You will receive a confirmation email soon after the transaction has been completed. If you do not receive this email, be sure to check your Junk and Spam filter for emails sent by
