Cultural Canvas is a community art gathering where everyone is welcome to come together to enjoy a variety of arts, culture and community!
The event takes place Saturday, June 8, 2024

Art Battle, Live Art Tournament
Twelve Art Battle champion level artists will be competing in a live painting performance. New this year, four of the artists will be recruited locally. Join us to show your support! One winner will be determined by live audience votes. Paintings will be available by auction during the event.

Interactive Workshops
Take part in hands on workshops for free!
Pottery Workshop
Create your very own ceramic object out of clay with The Kiln Room Ceramic and Art Studio. Workshops start at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Details:
- No pre-registration required
- Must be 9 years of age or older to participate
- Maximum of 30 people can be accommodated in each workshop
- First-come, first-serve. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated
- Pick-up finished pieces at The Kiln Room 4-6 weeks after the event
Fibre Art Collage Card Workshop
From 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. create your own fibre art collage cards on-site or grab a kit-to-go with the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre.
Yarn crafts will also be available.

Heritage Tours
Join the Woodstock Heritage Committee to learn about our city's impressive history, through a 45-minute bus tour of local heritage sites and buildings.
- Tours depart from the Woodstock Museum at 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.
- First come, first served; no pre-registration required
- Upon arrival, check in at Woodstock Museum front desk
- Tours are free
Artists Alley
Artist Alley will showcase and embrace talented artists from our community and beyond. The artists and artisans on-site will be selling a variety of beautiful art and items for you to enjoy.Vendors include:

Woodstock Art Gallery
Saturday, June 8 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Celebrate our new youth exhibition, Creative Pathways, and announce the recipient of the 2024 Friends of the Woodstock Art Gallery Legacy Scholarship. The afternoon will also include the dedication of the Bruce Flowers Sculpture Garden Commission.
The Art Gallery is located across the street from Museum Square, 449 Dundas St.
Pride Escape Room
Celebrate Pride Month at the Woodstock Museum with a special escape room!
One hour time slots are available from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. The cost is $20 per person for groups of 4 to 6 people (ages 14+). Call 519-537-8411 or fill out our online booking request form to reserve your spot.
Food and Beverage
Grab a bite to eat from one of our downtown restaurants, or visit one of the onsite food vendors. You can also grab a seat in our beverage garden while enjoying the sights and sounds of the event.
