Southside Aquatic Centre is closed on Monday, May 19 for Victoria Day.
Lane/Shared Lane Swim
- Lane Swim: Three Lanes are open for swimming lengths and are set up by pace. Circle swimming will be enforced.
- Shared Lane Swim: One or Two Lanes are open for swimming lengths and are set up by pace. Circle swimming will be enforced. Pool will be shared with other programming. Lane swimming may take place in the Deep End.

Public Swim
All sections of the pool are available for everyone to enjoy a swim. Admission standards and parent to child ratios apply.

Adult and Child Swim
A portion of the shallow area is available for adults and children to enjoy a quiet swim. Pool is shared with other programs. Admissions standards and parent to child ratios apply. Adults must be present with children, no matter their age.

Recreational Swim Memberships
The recreational swim membership gives you access to all drop-in recreational swims (Lane Swim and Family Swim).

Admission Standards
All children 5 years of age or under must swim in the shallow end with a parent / guardian (12+ yrs). Children must remain under direct supervision and within arm's reach. Maximum of two children per parent / guardian (1:2).
Children 6-9 years must swim in the shallow end with parent / guardian (12+ yrs.) Children must remain under direct supervision and within arm's reach. Maximum of four children per parent / guardian (1:4).
Children 6-9 years who pass the swim admission test (30 m) may swim unaccompanied, but a parent/guardian must remain in the facility for children under 10 years of age. Children who have completed the test may be asked to retake the test if aquatic staff is concerned that they cannot demonstrate the ability to maintain the swim admission standard.
