Environment Advisory



The purpose of the Environment Advisory Committee is to make recommendations:

  • Relating to the setting of objectives and policies in connection with environmental matters
  • Relating to the status of programs and their relationship to community needs
  • Relating to capital projects
  • Relating to the education of the community on environmental matters
  • To increase public awareness and understanding of environmental matters


Committee meetings are held at Woodstock City Hall. The committee meets once every 2 months at a regular date and time mutually agreed upon by a majority of the members.

Members of the committee remain on the committee for the duration of the current council term of office.

Applying for a board or committee position

Complete the boards and committees application form and submit it to the clerk's department.
